Born in 1896 in Lastra a Signa near Florence, he studied at the Florentine Academy under Trentacoste, and began to sculpt with an impressionist touch. He performed public and private works in France, Germany, the United States, but also in Italy and also in Florence, where he lived, many of which cast from the Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry. In 1941 he became professor of sculpture at the Lucca Art Institute. It is present in the major galleries.
