Quinto Martini for Hermitage
The works of Quinto Martini came back to Russia, where they were exhibited on several occasions in the context of temporary exhibitions.
On May 24, 2013 five sculptures of the Tuscan artist have become part of the collection of the Hermitage Museum, the largest museum in the world.
The sculptures, chosen by Sergey Androsov, one of the world’s leading experts of Italian sculpture and Director of the Department of Western European Art of the Hermitage and cast by Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry were placed in the rooms of the palace in the context of massive exposure permanently dedicated to the best of Western sculpture of the twentieth century.
