In April, the director of the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, the Directorate of the Archaeological Museum of Florence and the restorer of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence visited the foundry.
The Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry created the model, from which the medal was taken, for the Casa Buonarroti and the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, to commemorate the anniversary of the Master’s death.
