MORGANTE ON THE LOGGIA DE’ LANZI TERRACE

On the beautiful terrace of the Loggia dei Lanzi, next to the Uffizi, was placed a stone fountain with a bronze Posthumous Cast Originals of the Giambologna’s sculpture, realized by Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry, Morgante riding a marine “dragon”.
The fountain was placed by the Lions Club Firenze, in memory of the social engagement of all the world Lions Clubs on the occasion of the Florence flood of 1966.
